What is a SAM file?

Ami Pro/Word Pro Document

These files contain documents created with the Ami Pro word processing application. Ami Pro, developed by Samna, was acquired by Lotus, and later acquired by IBM.

The latest version of the Ami Pro software was called IBM Lotus Word Pro. It has long been discontinued.
