What is a RRR file?
Files that contain the .rrr file extension are most commonly associated with backup files that contain a user's Windows registry entries.
The RRR files that are used for backup purposes are created by the Windows Registry Mechanic utility when the Windows Registry Mechanic application is used to optimize a user's computer registry. These files are often used to remove registry entries when errors or crashes occur.
The Rhapzodé software application has also been known to use the .rrr file suffix. This program uses the .rrr file extension for the resource repository files that are referenced by the software application during use.
