How to open RFO files
Did your computer fail to open a RFO file? We explain what RFO files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your files.
What is a RFO file?
RFO files are RoboForm cached data files, which you can read more about below.
The RFO file extension indicates to your device which app can open the file. However, different apps may use the same file extension for different types of data. So a RFO opener may not be able to open all kinds of RFO files. In this case, though, we only know of one specific use.
RoboForm cached data
The .rfo file extension is most commonly associated with the Roboform software. This application memorizes a user's user IDs and passwords, and other form data, eliminating the need to fill out each form submitted over the Web manually. The software encrypts the passwords with military-level encryption technology and provides users with a master password to simplify Internet password security. The RFO files contain the data cache files used by the software.
