RDR File
What are RDR files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a RDR file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your RDR files.
What is a RDR file?
The .rdr file extension is used for a proprietary disk image format that contains the data for hard disk recovery. The RDR files can only be successfully opened using the Dynamic Report Decoder (DRD) software, CTI Group, R- Tools Technologies, and Ryder Systems, which are the primary developers of the DRD software. These groups are also mainly responsible for the development of the .rdr file format.
RDR files are often associated with data restore systems and back-up utilities for Microsoft Windows PC. Proprietary file containers are made to store the data files necessary for system recovery in the event of serious hard disk problems. These data files are stored in disk images that come in various formats and are sometimes even compressed and/or encrypted in the .rdr file format.
To access, read, extract or modify the files stored in RDR data disk images, licensed-proprietary decoder programs from the groups mentioned above are needed. R-Drive Image, which is developed by R- Tools Technologies, is one of the few programs specifically designed to manage .rdr disk images.
