What are PVL files and how to open them

What is a PVL file?
PVL files have multiple uses, and Instalit Library is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.

How to open PVL files
Important: Different programs may use files with the PVL file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your PVL file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested five different PVL openers which you will find listed below.

All known file formats using extension .PVL
While Instalit Library is a popular type of PVL-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .PVL file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
PrintPower Pro Data
We know that one PVL format is PrintPower Pro Data. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
