What is a PRNX file?

The .prnx file extension was created by Developer Express, Inc. Classified as a document file format, these PRNX files are generated by the XtraReports as its main document output files. The XtraReports software was also created by Developer Express, Inc.A PRNX file contains multimedia data that has been entered and saved by the user through the XtraReports software. These .prnx files may also store metadata details associated with the corresponding PRNX document output files. Also known as XtraReports reporting files, the XtraReports software allows users to create PRNX documents for simple and complex reports.The XtraReports software can be used to open .prnx documents. This program is compatible with Windows-based computers. No third party application is known to be capable of converting PRNX documents into other more standard document output formats.
