Opening PFL files

Did your computer fail to open a PFL file? We explain what PFL files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your PFL files.

What is a PFL file?

The .pfl file type is primarily viewed as a project file format created using PDF altering tools. PFL files are also known as modified PDF files. PDFill is one of the various tools available in the Microsoft Windows operating system that can open.pfl files. Developed by PlotSoft, LLC, PDFill tool allows user to modify/edit or create new files that can later be accessed with Adobe Reader. PDFill tool also features an interface closely similar to MS Word.

Essentially, .Pfl files are used by the PDFill tool for immediate retrieval of PDF projects that are still in progress. Users can immediately save the PDF files that they are editing as .pfl extension. After which, the edited .pfl file can finally be exported as a standard PDF file, available for Adobe Reader users.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
