PDO File Type
- The quick factsWhat are PDO files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a PDO file or just wondering what they contain? We explain what these files are used for and show you software that we know can open or otherwise handle your files.
What is a PDO file?
A .PDO file is a Pepakura Designer origami file.
Files that contain the .pdo file extension are files that have been created by the Pepakura Designer paper-craft 3D model software application. The Pepakura Designer software creates 3D origami models that users design and then turns those 3D models into the 2D paper cutout files that are needed to create the actual origami project.
The PDO files contain the digital origami files that are created by a user with the software application. These files contain the pattern for the origami model, such as the cuts and the pattern folding lines.
Once a user has created a 3D model using the software, the project can then be printed on paper and a user can use the printouts to create the 3D model that has been designed with the Pepakura Designer application.
