Opening NT files

Did your computer fail to open a NT file? We explain what NT files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your NT files.

What is a NT file?

Files that contain the .nt file extension are Windows NT command script files. These files store system files that are loaded by a user's operating system during the Windows NT boot process.

The NT files that are used by the operating system contain the scripts and settings that Windows NT uses to load the operating system's resources. These files are stored in the root folder located on the user's hard drive.

The .nt file suffix is also used for theWord Bible software. This software application uses the .nt file suffix for module files that are referenced by the application during the use of the software program.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
