What are MPI files and how to open them

What is a MPI file?
MPI files have multiple uses, and InstallJammer Project is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
How to open MPI files
Important: Different programs may use files with the MPI file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your MPI file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested seven different MPI openers which you will find listed below.

While InstallJammer Project is a popular type of MPI-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .MPI file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
TommySoftware CAD/Draw Settings
We know that one MPI format is TommySoftware CAD/Draw Settings. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
