What are LOG1 files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a LOG1 file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your LOG1 files.
What is a LOG1 file?
Files that contain the .log1 file extension are usually log files that are created by the Windows registry. These files contain a log of changes that are made to the Windows registry. As changes are made to the registry, the .log1 files are updated to reflect those changes. The .log1 file is a part of a registry archive that contains other log files with similar extensions including .log, .log2 and .log3.
The .log1 file extension can also be used to make backup copies of software log files. A user can create the .log1 extension when they want to begin a fresh log file but do not want to delete the previous application log.
Files with the .log1 extension are commonly used for troubleshooting and software debugging purposes.
