What is a LBF file?
The LBF file format was developed by 2K Games for their Bioshock 2 software product, which is a video game that was designed for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. This file format was created by 2K Games as a configuration file type, and these LBF files use the .lbf file extension. These LBF files are in plain text format and may be opened and edited using standard text editors like Notepad and Apple TextEdit. Saved configurations and settings for the Bioshock 2 video game are stored in these .lbf files. These .lbf files are generated by the Bioshock 2 video game when a player saves a configuration and settings profile through the user interface of this game. During gameplay, the Bioshock 2 video game follows the configurations and settings that are saved in the associated LBF file. It's best to leave these LBF files alone, in order for the Bioshock 2 video game to continue running properly.
