IRX File
What are IRX files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an IRX file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your IRX files.
What is an IRX file?
Files that contain the .irx file extension are most commonly associated with the UVBrewer data analysis application. This software is used to reduce Brewer UV data files that are produced by the UX, UF, UA or UV routines. This allows a user to scan weighted UV data.
The IRX files that are used by the UVBrewer software application contain irradiance data that is used to calibrate lamps in the UVBrewer app. The IRX files include the irradiance properties and responsiveness of a specific lamp that was calibrated using the UVBrewer software. These files are saved in an ASCII file format.
