What is a HST file?
HST files have multiple uses, and HSI Raw Bitmap is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
HSI Raw Bitmap File
HSI stands for Handmade Software Inc. and is a raster image format they invented for use in their MS-DOS-based Image Alchemy software. These images are in either 8-bit or 24-bit color and uncompressed.
How to open HST files
Important: Different programs may use files with the HST file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your HST file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

Mosaic Browser History File
Mosaic was one of the first widely available web browsers. It stored users' browsing history in HST files.
This software was discontinued in 1997.
