What is a HKV file?
The .hkv file extension is used for a digital video file format that was developed by Eyesight, a tech product manufacturer based in China. These HKV files are generated by Eyesight IP cameras, which are used as security cameras and surveillance tools. These .hkv files can be played by using the SYSM Monitor program, which is a digital video player for PCs.Depending on the Eyesight IP camera that was used to record and save these HKV video files, a .hkv file may contain recorded motion graphics in various resolutions and recorded digital audio clips. There are only a few digital multimedia players with support for opening and playing these HKV files, and some Eyesight IP cameras do not have features for recording audio clips. The SYSM Monitor application can also be used to export these .hkv files to the AVI file format. This software is recommended for playing and exporting these HKV video files.
