What are FRX files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a FRX file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your FRX files.
What is a FRX file?
A .FRX file is a Microsoft Visual Basic Form file.
Microsoft Visual Basic Forms files with the file extension ".frx" are used to store binary data associated with Visual Basic user interface elements. When a user creates a form that contains images or other non-textual resources, the Visual Basic Integrated Development Environment (IDE) generates these files.
Visual Basic uses FRX files to display the user interface elements. They may contain images, icons, bitmaps, or other binary data. They are separate from the source code files (.vb or .frm) and are not editable using a text editor.
FRX files are automatically created by the Visual Basic IDE when a form is saved and are typically located in the same directory as the form file.
