What are EYE files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an EYE file or just wondering what they contain? We explain what these files are used for and show you software that we know can open or otherwise handle your files.
What is an EYE file?
EYE files have multiple uses, and Eyemail video is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Eyemail video
These EYE files contain the videos used in Eyemail, a email communications software. You can attach a video to your email that gets automatically played to the viewer as soon as they open the email. The file size is under 15k to it won't be stopped by firewalls.
How to open EYE files
Important: Different programs may use files with the EYE file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your EYE file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested three different EYE openers which you will find listed below.
