ENEX File
What are ENEX files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an ENEX file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your ENEX files.
What is an ENEX file?
An .ENEX file is an Evernote Exported XML file.
Evernote .enex files provide an easy way to move data between Evernote accounts and compatible software. They have a structured format which stores titles, content and metdata such as tags and creation dates in an XML format.
To export notes for transfer, users select the notes they want, choose the export option, then save the resulting file on their computer. The file can then be imported into another Evernote account, or into software that supports .enex files.
ENEX files can be opened in a text editor or imported into other software applications that support XML files.
