What are ENCRYPTED files and how to open them

What is an ENCRYPTED file?
ENCRYPTED files have multiple uses, and EasyCrypto Encrypted Data is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
EasyCrypto Encrypted Data
These ENCRYPTED files contain encrypted data that has been encrypted through EasyCrypto, an encryption and decryption software. You can encrypt and decrypt streams, byte arrays, and strings. You can generate, hash, and validate passwords.
How to open ENCRYPTED files
Important: Different programs may use files with the ENCRYPTED file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your ENCRYPTED file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested four different ENCRYPTED openers which you will find listed below.

While EasyCrypto Encrypted Data is a popular type of ENCRYPTED-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .ENCRYPTED file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
TopStudio Encrypted
We know that one ENCRYPTED format is TopStudio Encrypted. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
