What are DSE files and how to open them

What is a DSE file?

DSE files have multiple uses, and Dyalog APL Session is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.

Dyalog APL Session

These DSE files contain the projects created in Dyalog APL, a programming language used by subject matter experts and IT specialists. Dyalog APL allows you to develop applications, build interfaces and presentations, develop web applications, and process data by using standard libraries.

How to open DSE files

Important: Different programs may use files with the DSE file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your DSE file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

Klasik Spreadsheet Export Driver

These DSE files contain export drivers for Klasik, a Microsoft Office-like application for MS-DOS by Optimal s.r.o. They are used to enable export of data in various formats.

WhatsUp Gold Virtual Device

We know that one DSE format is WhatsUp Gold Virtual Device. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
