What is a DINFO file?
Files that contain the .dinfo file extension are used by the DivX Player video playback software. The DivX Player is a media player that allows users to play videos and movies on their computer.
The DINFO files that are created by this player are associated with a corresponding DDAT video file. The DINFO file contains the metadata location for the DDAT video file that the DINFO file is associated with as well as the video file's download link.
DINFO files are used to download, stream and play the actual video that is associated with the DINFO file, but does not contain any actual video data in an of itself.
