What is a CTT file?
A .CTT file is a MSN Messenger Saved Contact List file.
Files that contain the .ctt file extension are used by the Microsoft Windows Live Messenger instant messaging software application. Windows Messenger is a free instant message application that is distributed by Microsoft.
The CTT files used by the Windows Messenger IM application store a user's contact information in the XML file format. CTT files contain information such as the names and email addresses of a user's list of contacts. Another user can import these files to share contact lists and contact information. CTT files can also be helpful if a user loses their contact information, providing a backup resource for their contact files.
How to open CTT files
Important: Different programs may use files with the CTT file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your CTT file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
