WhatsApp Encrypted Chat Log File

These CRYPT files are generated by the WhatsApp software, an instant messaging (IM) application designed for mobile devices. This software is compatible with widely used mobile platforms like Android and iOS. Chat history data is stored by the WhatsApp software in these CRYPT files, which are encrypted SQLite database files with the .crypt extension.

Depending on the version of WhatsApp on your mobile device, these files may have the extension .crypt, .crypt2, .crypt3, .crypt4, .crypt5, .crypt6, .crypt7 and so on.

These CRYPT files are designed to be opened using the messaging and chat history viewer of WhatsApp.
