Microsoft Driver Test Manager Log File

The CPK file extension is a file format used for Microsoft Driver Test Manager log files. The .cpk file is a storage container that stores testing reports and result logs when testing drivers for a hardware device.

Driver Test Manager allows users to test the computer drivers to obtain a "'Designed for Windows' logo" for the driver. Having the mentioned logo on the driver means that the driver is consistent with Windows, and certain privileges are given to the driver in case of problems and malfunctions.

The .cpk file extension is also used as a file format for submitting reports to Microsoft. This is necessary so that a device can be verified, managed, and may be certified for the Windows system. CPK files are also beneficial for debugging tests that may have failed already. DTM log viewer is designed to support .cpk files contents' viewing.
