What are CDT files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a CDT file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your CDT files.
What is a CDT file?
Files that contain the .cdt file extension are created by Corel's CorelDRAW software application. CorelDRAW allows users to author and edit images that are stored on their hard drive.
The CDT files that are used by CorelDRAW are image template files that can be used with the CorelDRAW application. These templates include the properties for a new CorelDRAW image including the graphic and object fill settings as well as the ruler, grid, style properties, page settings and guidelines for the new CorelDRAW image.
The CDT templates allow users to use the same template styles across multiple CorelDRAW images without having to define the settings for each file individually.
