CDF-MS File
What are CDF-MS files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening a CDF-MS file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your CDF-MS files.
What is a CDF-MS file?
A .CDF-MS file is a ClickOnce Compiled Manifest file.
The .cdf-ms file extension is used for a Windows system file format, which was developed by Microsoft. Also known as ClickOnce Deployment binary manifest files, these CDF-MS files are binary versions of files in the MANIFEST format. These .manifest and .cdf-ms files can be created through the use of Visual Studio, which is a program that was also developed by Microsoft for authoring software tools and applications.
A CDF-MS file contains binary source code that is associated with a certain .manifest file. These MANIFEST files are in turn associated with DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules. These .manifest and .cdf-ms files are generated when an associated DLL is integrated with ClickOnce Deployment functions. Just like other system files, these .cdf-ms files are not meant to be opened. These contain binary code that is not human-readable.
