What is a BLF file?

BLF files are log files created by the Windows "Common Log File System" API. It provides a high-performance, general-purpose log file subsystem that client applications can use to optimize log access.
CLFS encapsulates all the functionality of the Algorithm for Recovery and Isolation Exploiting Semantics (ARIES), and any application that needs logging or recovery support can use CLFS.
