What are BB files and how to open them

What is a BB file?
BB files have multiple uses, and Artlantis BillBoard is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Artlantis BillBoard
These BAM files contain realistic 3D images created in Artlantis, a 3D modeling software. You use this software to create photorealistic animations for architectural visualization. You can simulate the effects of materials and lights for any 3D project.
How to open BB files
Important: Different programs may use files with the BB file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your BB file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
While we have not verified the apps ourselves yet, our users have suggested four different BB openers which you will find listed below.

While Artlantis BillBoard is a popular type of BB-file, we know of 2 different uses of the .BB file extension. Different software may use files with the same extension for different types of data.
BigBed Track Format
We know that one BB format is BigBed Track Format. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
