What is an AYT file?
The .ayt file extension is a proprietary file type used in files that are associated with CCH ProSystem fx Tax. CCH ProSystem fx Tax is an on-premise tax solution for compliance and preparation solution software that features automatic calculating forms and schedules that are being used by businesses and enterprises. It supports a lot of common business tax models that are being utilized in the US.
The .ayt files are part of the client's records in CCH ProSystem fx Tax. An .ayt file is an organizer file that is created for client's record maintenance. The role of .ayt files are to see to it that the records are intact before approval. It serves are a checker if the records are completed before starting the calculations and processing. AYT files are one of the files that can be found in Wfx32\Client\YYP folder. The following files that should be present to work with .ayt files are .iyt, .ipt, and .uyt.
How to open AYT files
Important: Different programs may use files with the AYT file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your AYT file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
