What is an AMT file?
AMT files have multiple uses, and ABBYY Finereader language data is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
ABBYY Finereader language data
These AMT files contain the editable file formats created in ABBYY FineReader, an optical character recognition system. ABBYY is used to convert scanned documents, PDFs, and image files into formats that you can edit.
How to open AMT files
Important: Different programs may use files with the AMT file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your AMT file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
