Opening ALB files

Did your computer fail to open an ALB file? We explain what ALB files are and recommend software that we know can open or convert your ALB files.

What is an ALB file?

Files that contain the .alb file extension are commonly used by the Cubase music software. Cubase is used to produce and record music tracks and is a type of Digital Audio Workstation. Cubase uses the .alb extension to create backups of musical arrangement files created within the software application.

The .alb extension is also used by the VCOM Web Easy image application. The VCOM software uses the ALB files to store clipart and photos, thus allowing users to create web pages from various templates.

The Alpha Five software also uses ALB files. These files contain libraries that are used by the software, storing dictionary information for application that is being developed with the Alpha Five application.

Try a universal file viewer

In addition to the products listed above, I would suggest that you try a universal file viewer like Free File Viewer. It can open over 200 different types of files - and very likely yours too! Download Free File Viewer.
