What is Media Center Plus?
Jasc Software developed Media Center Plus, which is a program for managing multimedia files created in different formats. Photos can be tagged, named or renamed to allow for easier organization of the files into catalogs. Videos and audio files can likewise be stored in their respective albums/folders for easier management.
The program provides a viewer where files can be displayed in thumbnail mode. It is able to capture images from TWAIN-compatible devices like digital cameras and scanners. It provides support for the following formats: TIFF, BMP, WMF, EMF, PNG, MP3, AVI and MPEG, and other popular multimedia formats.
Users are provided with the option to print their files, allowing for setting print parameters in order to create an output that looks exactly how it is displayed on the screen. The program also has a slide show creator, providing the user with one other option for viewing and presenting their photo files.
Moreover, it is integrated with a tool that allows for exporting of files to HTML format, to make them Web-compatible; which in turn, allows for sharing of files over the Internet.
