What is an AJP file?

An .AJP file is an Anfy Applet Generator Saved file.

Anfy Applet Generator Saved file holds a design project created with Anfy, a software tool by Anfy Team for building Java applets - interactive visual effects such as menus, text scrollers, banners, fractals and more - for websites, blogs, or screensavers. It stores all settings and parameters you specify in the visual editor so you can later open, edit, or export the applet using Anfy.

This file is written and read exclusively by the Anfy program. After saving your work inside Anfy, it captures layout dimensions, speed delays, overlaid images, sync settings, messaging text, and enable/disable toggles for various features. When you reopen the file in Anfy, everything returns exactly as you left it so you can adjust or finalize your design before generating the HTML/applet and class (or jar) files that are used on a website or as a screensaver.

Internally the file begins with the ASCII signature "AJP14" at byte offset 0, followed by many text parameters such as STATUSMSG, OVERIMAGE, REGLINK, WIDTH, HEIGHT, ESPEED, MEMDELAY and others like TASKPRIORITY, MINSYNC; keys like REGFRAMENAME, REGNEWFRAME, FIXNETSCAPE also appear.
