What are AG files and how to open them

What is an AG file?
AG files have multiple uses, and Applixware Graphic is one of them. Read more about the other uses further down the page.
Applixware Graphic
These AG files contain databases/documents created by Applixware Graphic. Applixware is a suite of office tools with a word processor, email client, spreadsheet editor, and database program. Applixware was ported to Linux and became the first graphical office suite on the platform.
How to open AG files
Important: Different programs may use files with the AG file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your AG file is, you may need to try a few different programs.

We know that one AG format is Lotus Agenda Data Objects. We have not yet analyzed in detail what these files contain and what they are used for. We're working on it.
