ACL File
What are ACL files and how to open them
Are you having problems opening an ACL file or are you simply curious about its contents? We're here to explain the properties of these files and provide you with software that can open or handle your ACL files.
What is an ACL file?
An .ACL file is an Office AutoCorrect List file.
These ACL files contain the list of corrections created by the Microsoft Office autocorrect feature. This feature allows you to get rid of spelling mistakes or even finish your sentences for you. You can access the AutoCorrect options list to set your preferred autocorrects that should happen. You could set up automation like changing "=web" to a specific website link. This can help with email automation.
You usually do not need to edit or view these files, as they only contain information usable by the software program that uses them.
