A2B is the extension of files used by the Adlib Tracker II. The Adlib Tracker II is a type of music tracker or tracker, sequencing software used for creating music.

A2B files are instrument banks, stored electronic data of instrument sounds used in music composition. The Adlib Tracker II creates .A2B files for the OPL3 FM-chip, a type of hardware used in computer soundcards. Soundcards are the hardware responsible for converting audio signals to and from the computer using programs.

How to open A2B files

Important: Different programs may use files with the A2B file extension for different purposes, so unless you are sure which format your A2B file is, you may need to try a few different programs.
