What is a PDA file?

The .pda file extension is used for a 3D graphics and CAD (computer aided design) file format. Also called Autodesk pond outflow data files, the PDA file format was created by Autodesk, Inc. This company develops CAD / CAM / CAE tools. The software that uses the .pda file format is AutoCAD Civil. This is a CAD program for Windows PCs, which was also developed by Autodesk, Inc.The content of a PDA file mainly consists of 3D graphics and CAD images that are associated with pond outflow data diagrams. These are normally included in an AutoCAD Civil project. These are saved in a file with the .pda file extension. These PDA files are used by the AutoCAD Civil software as resources whenever a user is working on the associated project output file in this program.AutoCAD Civil can be used to open these .pda files. This software can also be used to create and modify a PDA file. There are no known applications that can be used to export these .pda files to other 3D graphics file formats.
