What is Zulu?
The Zulu DJ Software is a music mixing program that belongs to the category of DJ software. One of its features is the ability to detect song beats automatically. The function allows the program to perform a scan of a particular audio track to identify its BPM. Once it has identified that, it goes on to adjust the tempo on the next deck in order to keep the flow smooth. It also permits the user to change song pitch on the fly and get real-time results. The same goes for real-time BPM adjustment.
The software eases the loads for DJs by supporting automated playback. DJs can also use the software as a track recorder so that they can have saved copies of their favorite/best mixes. There is already an effects bank within the program, but users can add more using VST plug-ins, which are supported. Besides that, effects can be applied in real-time to any playing track. There is also an integrated option for “Safe Live Mode”, which prevents disasters from happening when DJs are actually using the program for a live gig. It can also open most audio file formats.
