If you are looking for wx-devcpp, you have come to the right place. We explain what wx-devcpp is and point you to the official download.
What is wx-devcpp?
The wx-devcpp is an alias for wxDev-C++, which is an IDE that was built on the foundations of the widely-used Dev-C++ application. As an IDE, it purports to supply a resource for wxWidget frame/dialog development. The main form design tool in the program is able to produce XRC XML resources and allows users to proceed with their designing process through drag and drop operation. The software also has diagnostics utilities that help users debug their work as needed: Gnu Debugger is supported and the program automatically traces stacks; it also supplies a list of local variables and shows the registers for the CPU as well as disassembly.
The editor itself has a class browser and offers functions that help users manage multiple projects, partly by giving them separate profiles. Syntax highlighting is provided as well as configurable and the editor automatically highlights for inline assembly. Users of the application can also make use of either GNU or Windows compilers. It also supports MingW, VisualC++ and CVS. The application is maintained by an active development team as well as the efforts of the C++ community, which is often encouraged to submit new tutorials for users of the program.
