WinImage

If you are looking for WinImage, you have come to the right place. We explain what WinImage is and point you to the official download.

What is WinImage?

WinImage is a disk-imaging software program developed by Gilles Vollant. The software features a suite of applications that will enable the user to create a mirror image of any physical disk, be it a hard disk, a floppy disk, VHD disk and other file systems. It can also create mirror images from optical discs such as CDs, DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.

The software is most useful for individuals who still have floppy disks lying around, and would like to secure the data stored here for future use. WinImage can create a disk image for each of your floppy disks, which can then b easily recreated when the user needs the data taken from the floppy disks.

The user can also create a mirror image of the PCs hard drive so that should the computer suddenly crash, the user need not reinstall the OS again; the backup hard disk can restore and recreate your system to its original state. This saves the user time and effort.

The software was designed for Windows computers. There is a trial version that can be used for up to 30 days. After the trial period has expired, the user will need to register the product to be able to continue to use it.
