Windows Journal Viewer

If you are looking for Windows Journal Viewer, you have come to the right place. We explain what Windows Journal Viewer is and point you to the official download.

What is Windows Journal Viewer?

Windows Journal Viewer is a separate application that lets users view and Windows Journal. Windows Journal is a note taking application that directly works with computers but not fully in tablet PCs. Windows Journal is definitely available in tablet PCs too but the Windows Journal Viewer must be installed as well. That’s when Windows Journal becomes fully accessible to mobile users of tablets in which creating and managing handwritten notes or drawings are possible. All notes, drawings or graphics are saved in JNT File format.

Windows Journal and Windows Journal Viewer are both developed by Microsoft for tablet PCs with operating systems Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows Server 2003. The newest version of Windows Journal Viewer is 1.5 in which you can view notes, drawings and other templates as read-only files though. This enables you to view, copy and print data but cannot be edited or saved. Additional features include the Multilingual User Interface or MUI functionality for both Windows XP and Windows 2000. It is available in English (not considered as MUI language), German, French, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Traditional, and Chinese Simplified.
