What is Vacon Live?

Vacon Live is a PC-based software tool used for commissioning and maintenance. It includes an integrated software download tool called “Vacon Loader”, which can be used for downloading applications or firmware. Vacon Live lets the parameter setting either on-line or off-line in the field or in the office. This program utilizes RS485-protocol, as well as a USB-RS485 cable in order for the PCs and the AC drive to communicate.

The program’s functions in online mode include PC Control, monitoring, fault history, fault handling, and active alarms. It also consists of a datalogger and records chosen values.
