TSR Workshop

If you are looking for TSR Workshop, you have come to the right place. We explain what TSR Workshop is and point you to the official download.

What is TSR Workshop?

TSR Workshop stands for “The Sims Workshop”. This is a program that allows the user to create his own content for use with the Sims games, specifically Sims 1, Sims 2 and Sims 3. Thus, for instance, if a person playing one of those games wants a specific house for his Sims but does not have the tools for creating it in the game, he can use TSR Workshop to make the house, then simply upload the file to his Sims game. The same goes for other Sims elements, from furniture to road objects and terrain and people.

The program allows users to see the precise appearances their creations will take in-game through a 3D view option. It also supplies some options for automated object features that appear in later games, e.g. an automated feature for applying sunshadows to objects as they appear in Sims 3. It also supports geostate definition to help users get objects to work as they should in-game. Users can also use resources from other files or programs, e.g. meshes made with other software. Finally, the program also has morph sliders that allow the user to see replications of in-game morphing behavior for their creations.
