If you are looking for Topo10, you have come to the right place. We explain what Topo10 is and point you to the official download.

What is Topo10?

The Topo10 software from DeLorme Publishing is one of the company’s navigational software releases for US and Canadian users, spanning as it does the breadth of North America. The topographic data included in the application include USGS terrain maps as well as 1:50,000 topographic maps pertaining to Canada. All topographic maps are not only supplied in high quality but also have interactive features as well as customization options.

The software allows users to generate precise and detailed elevation profiles, for instance, that can help users get info such as grade, climbing distance, and more for planned hikes and similar excursions. Besides that, the program can generate actual elevation graphics in both 2D and 3D.

All maps on the software, along with routes planned by users, can be printed out for hardcopy reference. Users can simply work off their digital devices too, of course. A GPS-compatible application, Topo10 is also equipped with support for voice command manipulation. It works with many of the Garmin NMEA receivers, as well as those from Magellan, Trimble, Conexant, and Eagle. It is a Windows application, although it can run on a Mac equipped with Boot Camp.
