Tinn-R Editor

If you are looking for Tinn-R Editor, you have come to the right place. We explain what Tinn-R Editor is and point you to the official download.

What is Tinn-R Editor?

Tinn-R is a word processor that facilitates usage and training in the R statistical computing language. While there are avowedly other R editors that have more advanced and powerful features, those are generally usable only for those truly versed in R already: to people who have yet to fully master the environment, Tinn-R is generally more attuned to their needs as it was developed for R learning.

Tinn-R can recognize both Rterm.EXE and Rgui.EXE files. It also supports macros and Unicode as well as RNOWEB and sports a graphical user interface for its explorer. It has syntax highlighting and also imposes no limits on the sizes of files being worked on by the user; more than that, it permits users to open more than one document at a time by featuring two options for multi-document workflow—a tabbed interface and a multi-document interface. It also has a spell-check feature for several languages, as well as providing tools for users to manage their projects more efficiently. Furthermore, users can make use of an XML database to take advantage of its autocomplete function. Tinn-R is for Windows systems.
