What is The Webshots Desktop?
To install the Webshots Desktop application, you must have Administrator access. You must have Webshots username and password for you to personalize the program. Check that your antivirus or firewall does not block download or installation of this software. Click Run when the File Download notification appears. You can also choose Save to save file installer to your desktop then just double-click the installer to install. Follow the prompts for installation.
The Webshots Desktop and Toolbar provides you with screensavers and wallpapers including your own personal photo collection and photos from the application’s Website. You can organize your photos from your computer hard drive and monitor your favorite members and friends online. You can browse member photos such as home & garden, family, news, outdoors, pets, rides, sports, travel and new photos.
Webshots Desktop will be replaced by Smile Desktop with Smile by Webshots for a simpler uploader and photo screensaver. Members from Webshots Desktop will be transferred to Smile by Webshots but must be confirmed before the old application finally closes down on December 1, 2012. The new application charges subscription service though after the 30-day free trial.
