What is Tekla BIMsight?
Tekla BIMsight is a tool that is used for construction project collaborations. The entire construction workflow can combine their models, check for conflicts and share information using the same, easy-to-use BIM environment. Tekla BIMsight enables project participants to identify and solve issues that are already in the design phase before construction. The Tekla BIMsight combines and shares models, checks for conflicts, and communicates through the use of notes. Tekla BIMsight is a software application for building information on model-based construction project collaborations. It can import models from other BIM applications by using the Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) formats, also DWG and DGN.
With Tekla BIMsight, users can perform spatial coordination, clash or conflict checking, to avoid design and constructability issues and communicate with others in the construction project by sharing models and notes. With the Tekla BIMsight project collaboration tool, users can take the lead in the review, conflict resolution, and design coordination of IFC-compliant 3D models from all trades and disciplines. Tekla BIMsight imports today’s design extensions, including DWG, DXF, DGN, and IFC.
