What is SWF & FLV Player?
SWF & FLV Player from Eltima Software is a basic Flash video player provided as freeware (PRO version also available for a fee). It comes with playback options generally included in media players: Play, Backward, Forward, First Frame, Last Frame, Pause and Stop. With the player installed, users get to watch FLV and SWF videos from the Web. The PRO version also allows for saving of the Flash videos on the computer’s hard drive.
With the free version, users can download the videos before watching them; while with the PRO version, users can watch videos directly on their respective Web pages. Zoom in and zoom out options are also available for both versions, as well as playlist option with shuffle feature. File size and SWF version, frame rate, fonts and other information regarding the file may also be viewed.
Additional features of the PRO version include screen capture, file conversion to image format, and full screen playback mode. A Mac version of the player is also available, called the Elmedia Player for Mac. The Windows version is available in English only, while the Mac version is available in several languages: Traditional and Simplified Chinese, German, English, French, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.
