What is sqldeveloper?

The Oracle SQL Developer is used by developers programming with the Structured Query Language in Oracle. A free program, it provides
answers for development, database migration, report interfacing and data modeling.

The program has diagnostic capabilities that let users monitor their databases straight from the main interface’s menu. It also has database
searching options with search history logging so that users can pull up search results again in the future. Results can also be viewed in a distinct
editor.

The software supports command line operations even for reporting and cart activities, with the latter allowing the user to perform exporting
through it. The Cart feature itself is particularly robust, being able to support more than one cart at a time and equipped with flexible object
deployment capacities. Cart contents can be compared to each other and can also be backed up through copying. Furthermore, there
are reporting and charting commands, options for modeling data (as well as redacting it in case there are elements that need to be hidden),
support for the 12c version of Oracle’s databases, compatibility with JDK 7, and migration tools that come with a wizard.
