Splash Lite

If you are looking for Splash Lite, you have come to the right place. We explain what Splash Lite is and point you to the official download.

What is Splash Lite?

Splash Lite is software that installs a free media player on the user’s computer. The player is able to play High Definition (HD) movies and video clips, specifically video clips captured with HD camera recorders.

For systems that include a TV tuner, the player allows the user to watch HD television from the Internet. The player also allows for recording of TV shows, whether in real-time, i.e. simultaneous with watching the show, or on a pre-set schedule.

Video playback settings can be customized. On the Playback options screen, the user can utilize the default preset, or manually adjust the following: Detail Boost, Light Boost or Motion; and also play the video in Demo Mode.

Under the General Settings option, the user is provided with basic settings configuration: Language, Application always on top, Check for updates, Automatically hide menu bar, and Jump interval. Settings for Video, Audio, Subtitles, TV/Tuner and EcoMode can also be configured, and can be accessed from the Settings menu. The software also installs its own set of codecs, for audio and video decoding.
